Discover SIS Heat Dynamic
SIS Heat Dynamic is the innovative alternative to traditional pitch heating. While conventional systems require significant gas consumption and lose a large portion of their energy to the subsoil, this 100% electric technology takes a completely different approach. Instead of transporting heat, SIS Heat Dynamic efficiently generates heat directly in the soil with a rapid response time, distributing it homogeneously to maintain a frost-free surface.
Traditional field heating is an inefficient system that does not fit within the modern energy transition. With SIS Heat Dynamic, you can keep your pitch frost-free and green, while reducing your heating expenses.
How the system works
1. Underground stainless steel grid
A durable stainless steel grid is installed directly in the rootzone.
2. Direct heat transfer
As soon as the system turns on, low-voltage electricity is instantly converted into heat right at the roots, precisely where the impact is greatest.
3. Even heat distribution
Thanks to the fine-mesh grid across the entire pitch, a completely uniform temperature is created. Every square centimeter receives the exact same amount of heat.
The gamechanger in pitch heating
Traditional pitch heating (hydronic) pumps hot water through pipes. This process is slow and inefficient, as the heat must first transfer through the water and thick pipe walls before reaching the soil.
SIS Heat Dynamic takes a fundamentally different approach. The system utilizes a unique stainless steel grid located directly beneath the top layer, instantly converting electricity into heat precisely where it is needed.
Furthermore, this targeted technology ensures exceptionally high energy efficiency, consuming up to 60 to 70% less energy compared to traditional systems.

1. Manual or automatic control
The system can be operated automatically or remotely, with smart timers and thermostats ensuring maximum control and energy-efficient operation.
2. Immediate response and even heat
Once the system is activated and the desired temperature is set, SIS Heat Dynamic delivers heat within seconds and ensures a uniform temperature across the entire surface.
3. Zone control
During the construction phase, the pitch is smartly divided into zones, allowing the temperature of each zone to be controlled individually.
The number and positioning of the zones are tailored to the stadium’s architecture and the shaded areas of the pitch.
4. Sensor data
Average pitch temperature per zone, measured via soil sensors.
Who is SIS Heat Dynamic for?
For stadiums, elite sports venues, and sports complexes that want to guarantee optimal pitch conditions year-round, meet the highest standards for pitch heating, and simultaneously lower their energy costs and CO₂ emissions.
Also ideal for municipalities, sports parks, and operators making the move toward a sustainable and gas-free sports complex.

Frequently asked questions
-
This technology utilizes a stainless steel grid that acts as a highly efficient heating element. This ensures an optimal and uniform heat distribution across the entire pitch. As a result, your grass grows equally well everywhere and frozen spots are prevented.
-
Thanks to its electric control, the system has an exceptionally short response time. You can adjust the soil temperature immediately and accurately when weather conditions change. This prevents unnecessary energy consumption and keeps the turf in top condition at all times.
-
Yes. Because heat is generated directly where it is needed, energy loss is significantly limited. Compared to traditional hydronic systems, energy consumption can be reduced by more than 60%, depending on the location, climate, and pitch usage.
-
The exact savings vary per situation and depend on energy prices, operating hours, and local conditions. However, significant cost savings have been achieved in real-world projects. For instance, a professional football club reported savings of up to €90,000 in the first year after installation.
-
The initial investment may be higher than for conventional pitch heating. On the other hand, operational costs are significantly lower due to the reduced energy consumption and minimal maintenance. This results in a more favorable total cost of ownership over the entire lifespan of the system.
-
SIS Heat Dynamic generally requires less installed power than traditional hydronic systems to deliver the same or better performance. In many situations, up to two to three times less power is sufficient. The exact connection requirements depend on the pitch size and local conditions.
-
SIS Heat Dynamic is designed to be a low-maintenance solution. Because there are no pumps, valves, heat exchangers, or glycol circuits, there are fewer wear-sensitive components, and maintenance costs are generally lower than for traditional systems.
-
Localized damage does not affect the operation of the system, meaning the heating functionality remains intact.
-
By maintaining a higher and uniform soil temperature, roots remain more active during cold periods. This contributes to a healthier turf, better pitch resilience, and less damage from frost or intensive use.
-
The system is fully electric and can run on renewable energy sources. Compared to traditional gas-fired systems, CO₂ emissions can be significantly reduced. This allows you to directly contribute to the energy transition and the sustainability goals of your club.
