DrainTalent is a circular soil management system that regulates the moisture content in the field using vacuum drainage and subsurface irrigation. The system can quickly remove excess water and allow water to infiltrate from below. Thanks to this bidirectional water flow, you have maximum control over the moisture balance in the field.

DrainTalent gives you active control over the soil’s water management. This keeps the pitch more stable, improves its playability and makes it less susceptible to weather conditions. Depending on the circumstances, this can result in up to 600 hours of playability per year on natural grass, with fewer cancellations and higher pitch quality.

That cannot be fully guaranteed, as external factors will always play a part. However, these systems do give you considerably more control over pitch conditions.
With DrainTalent, playability can be extended to as many as 600 hours a year, whilst SIS Heat Dynamic efficiently keeps the pitch frost-free. This makes it easier to play in a wide range of weather conditions.

The system operates largely automatically and adjusts its settings 24/7 based on real-time weather data from an integrated weather station. A digital dashboard, accessible remotely, gives you constant insight into the data from both the weather station and the moisture sensors. If necessary, you can easily make manual adjustments.

A network of drains is laid beneath the field at a depth of approximately 30–40 cm, spaced about 1.4 metres apart. These drains are connected to the DrainTalent unit via three main pipes and divided into sections to allow for targeted control. The system uses patented vacuum technology to actively extract water and then infiltrate it back into the soil via the same network. Thanks to the capillary action of the soil, this water is distributed evenly throughout the topsoil, ensuring a stable moisture balance.

Yes, the DrainTalent unit can serve multiple pitches. This reduces the investment costs per pitch and improves the quality of multiple pitches at a sports complex.

No, thanks to the bidirectional flow of water, the drains are continuously flushed.

Traditional drainage is passive and simply carries water away, meaning you are dependent on the natural behaviour of water within the soil profile. DrainTalent is an active, circular soil management system. The system extracts water and accelerates its infiltration from below. This gives you control over the moisture balance, making you less dependent on the weather.

By actively infiltrating water and then extracting it, space is created for air in the soil. This increases the oxygen content around the roots and improves the soil structure, transforming it from an anaerobic to a more aerobic environment. The result is deeper root growth and a stronger, more resilient turf.
