FC Twente – Stadium

FC Twente is a Dutch professional football club located in Enschede. Since it’s foundation in 1965, the club plays in the Eredivisie, with the exception of the seasons 1983/1984 and 2018/2019. The ‘Tukkers’ played their home games in stadium Het Diekman up until 1998, then it was replaced by their current stadium, De Grolsch Veste. The club won their first and only Eredivisie title in the 2009/2010 season.

About the project

FC Twente wanted to invest in an even better drainage system for their stadium pitch which was also due for a renovation. They wanted to be able to control and regulate the conditions of the field in detail. The project will executed in the summer break of 2024 and will be ready before the start of the new season. After the installation of the DrainTalent the pitch will be seeded and the hybrid system will be installed.
